Celebrities like Paris Hilton, Seal and Carlos Santana own her creations,
but Meg Reagan has never taken a marketing class. Her
glass belt buckles, jewelry and housewares may soon make her a
household name. Eight years ago, the former social worker and
community activist started 9 Manning Square, named after her
grandmother’s home in upstate New York, opening her own beach
cottage-themed storefront on Waites Wharf in Newport last summer.
And even though her business is enjoying success from coast
to coast, she remains down to earth about catching Hollywood’s eye.
